Project Overview
A Laravel-based comparison platform that uses Eurostat data to compare prices, inflation, salaries, and cost of living across EU countries. The platform allows users to explore and compare economic indicators without registration, providing real-time data visualizations and interactive tools.
The Challenge
The main challenge was aggregating and normalizing Eurostat data across 30+ countries with different metrics, currencies, and time periods. Building interactive charts and tables that update in real-time based on user selections required a robust architecture. The auto-sync URL pattern was implemented so users can share direct links to specific comparisons.
